As I walked through the woods at Lower Huron Metro Park, this single wild rose hip caught my eye.
One tiny red fruit, standing alone among dark leaves and tangled stems. Everything around it was fading into winter’s shadows — yet it stayed bright.

There was something about it that felt familiar.

It reminded me of the moments in my life when I felt unseen or overlooked, moving quietly through the world while carrying my own beauty, purpose, and story.
